Day 1 Arrival in Yangon
Upon arrival at he airport of this modern days
commercial capital city of
Myanmar,
Yangon, formerly known as Rangoon, you will be met and transferred to
the DUSIT INYA LAKE RESORT for overnight.
Later this afternoon you will be taken to visit the world famous
massive Schwedagon Pagoda of great religious significance and beauty.
A welcome dinner will be served at a local
restaurant tonight. (D.)
Day 2 Yangon-Bagan
Early his morning,
you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Pagan, a
former capital of Burma, or Bagan as called in the local language;
upon arrival you will be met and transferred to the AYE YAR HOTEL
from where you will immediately start your visit of this fascinating
archeological place, you will visit: the Nyaung Oo Market; the
Schwezigon Pagoda the prototype of all stupas in this country; the
Kyansitha U-min, a tunnel with interesting paintings; the Weikyi-in
Gubyaullyi Temple with its murals depicting the Jalaka legend; the
Htilominlo Temple, noted for its plaster moldings and the Talabka
Gate.
A lunch will be served en route.
This afternoon sightseeing will include the
Archeological
Museum, the Ananda and Manuha Temples, the Mingalazedi Pagoda and you
will see some lacquerware cottage industries.

Day 3 Bagan-Mandalay
This morning you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to
Mandalay.
Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to the SEDONA HOTEL;
soon you will be on your way to visit yet another capital of the past,
namely Amarapura to there see the spectacular Maha Gandayon Monastery,
a Buddhist University, and see silk weavers, the U Bein wooden Bridge.
Back in Mandalay you will visit the venerable Mahamuni Pagoda and some
traditional handicraft workshops.
Lunch will be served at the hotel.
This afternoon you will be taken to visit the newly reconstructed
Royal
Palace, the Zegyo Market, the Schwenandaw Monastery noted for its
exquisite woodcarvings, the Kuthodaw Pagoda, the Atumashi Monastery
and the Mandalay Hill.

Day 4 - Mandalay-Heho
In the morning you will be transferred to the airport for
your flight to Heho, directly from the airport you will proceed to the
scenic Inle Lake, famous for its beauty and unique leg-rowers; the
highlight of your visit will include the Phaungdaw Oo Pagoda, floating
gardens, you will wonder at the native way of fishing; rowing with one
leg and traditional weaving.
A lunch will be served en route
Dinner
and accommodation today will be at
PARADISE INLE
RESORT.

Day 5 Heho-Yangon
After breakfast you will visit the colorful market where many
hillstribemen come to barter their produces. Hence you will be driven
back your Heho for your return flight to Yangon.
Upon arriving back in the capital city you will be
transferred back to the DUSIT INYA LAKE RESORT and soon
thereafter you will be taken to visit the Sule Pagoda in the city
centre, the Botalaung Pagoda and the Nanthida Jetty to see the life on

Day 8 Yangon-Onwards
Morning will be at leisure for shopping or independent activities,
Lunch will be served at the hotel.
In due time you will be transferred to the airport
for your onward flight.
