Day 1,
Bangkok – Yangon
Upon landing in these
modern days commercial capital city of
Myanmar,
Yangon, formerly known as Rangoon, you will be met nad transferred to the
DUSIT INYA LAKE RESORT where you will be accommodated throughout
your stay here.
Later this afternoon you will be taken to visit the massive and world
famous Schwedagon Pagoda, of great religious significance and beauty; you
will enjoy its wonders and be amazed at the Buddhist Devotees ways of
worshipping.
A Welcome dinner will be served at a local
restaruant. (D.)
Day
2, In Yangon
This morning a sightseeing tour will take you to
visit the Chaukhatarkyi, a colossal Reclining Buddha Image, the
Meditation Center; the
World Peace Pagoda; Maha Pasana Guha Cave and the Buddhist Museum of Arts.
A Lunch will be served en route.
In the afternoon you will bisit the sacred Sule
Pagoda in the center of town and the National Museum, China Town, the Holy
Trinity Cathedral, where is conserved “Burmas Roll of Call”, a book that
lists the names of the Allied soldiers who fell during World War II; the
Bogyoke Aung San Market, etc. A stop will be made at the Government
sponsored “Diplomatic” store where you will be able to purchase genuine
precious stone (rubies and sapphires) for which this country is justly
famous.

Day 3, Yangon-Departure Morning at leisure or for shopping in own. Lunch at the Hotel. In due time, you will be transferred to the airport where you are to board your onward flight. (B., L.)
