VIETNAM’s NORTH TO SOUTH TOUR
This tour can be arranged in reverse order: That is South to North,
7-day (6 nights)
Day-1, arrive Hanoi
Upon arrival at the Noi Bai airport, you will be met and transferred
to the MELIA HOTEL. You will be immediately taken on a short
orientation tour of the city.
Later this evening you will enjoy a traditional performance by Hanoi’s
famous Water-Puppet troupe.
Day-2, in Hanoi
Today, a full day tour of this charming capital city of Vietnam will
take you to visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the One Pillar Pagoda,
the Quan Thanh Temple and the Than Quoc Pagoda, the Temple of
Literature, the Fine Arts Museum, the Lake of the Restored Sword and
the Old Quarter of “ 36 streets and 36 wares”.
Evening at leisure. (B.)
Day-3, Hanoi-Hue
Day at leisure till time to be transferred to the airport for your
flight to Hue. Upon arrival you will be taken to the MORIN HOTEL
for overnight and proceed immediately to visit the Imperial City of
Hue to get an insight of its regal past with visits to the Citadel and
the Royal tombs of the Nguyen Dynasty’s emperors Tu Duc and Kai Dinh.

Day-4, Hue-Danang
This morning we will take a boat ride on the Perfume River to there
visit the Thien Mu Pagoda, Hue’s most revered religious monument.
Hence you will be driven over the Hai Han Cloudy Pass from where you
will enjoy a wonderful panoramic view of the central coast, then
continue to Danang where you will visit the Marble Mountain, the Cham
Museum and China Beach, thence you will check in at the FURAMA
RESORT; later you will visit Hoi An, a charming little town of
mixed architectural styles. Here you will take a walk through the
quaint cobblestone streets, to visit it colonial merchant’s houses,
the Phuc Kien Pagoda, the 400-year old Japanese Covered Bridge and the
colorful local bazaar. (B.)
Day-5, Danang-Saigon
This morning you will be driven back to Danang’s airport for your
flight to Ho Chi Minh City. On arrival you will be met and transferred
to THE SOFITEL PLAZA HOTEL. Later today, you will be taken to
visit the city’s landmarks, the Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral, the
former Presidential Palace and China Town, better known at Cho Lon.

Day-6, Saigon and vicinity
Full-day excursion in the Mekong Delta, by boat, for you to sail the
many canals, and enjoy the riverine way of life, sampling freshly
picked local fruits, before being driven back to Saigon for the night.

Day-7, end of tour.
You will be on your own till time to be transferred to Tan Son Nhat
airport for your onwards flight (B.)
