ELEPHANTS at WORK & MEO VILLAGE                                         code: NX-9* Daily by private transport at 08.00 a.m.                                                             duration: 8 hours               Soon after leaving the hotel this morning, we come across several busy villages where markets are held and we reach a secluded spot along a forest river where elephants will be seen working the huge teak logs for which the country is justly famous.               From here we will proceed deeper into the hills and reach the Mae-Sa Valley Lodge where lunch will be served.             In the afternoon, we board a mini-truck and head upward into the wilderness to visit some fascinating Meo hilltribe villages.                Before returning to the hotel, a stop will be made the beautiful Mae-Sa waterfalls.     _______________________________________________________                   ________________________________________________________________________________
