GOLDEN TRIANGLE & HILLTRIBES                                                 code: CR-5* Daily by private transport at 08.00 a.m.                                                                         duration: 6 hours               From the hotel in Chiangrai, we climb hills to visit colorful Yao and Akkha Hilltribe villages and then proceed to the infamous Golden Triangle, the confluence of 2 rivers marking the border of Thailand with Laos and Burma.  We shall also visit the towns of MaeSai and Chiang San, the latter located on the bank of the might Mea Khong River.  Lunch served en route.
