Day1,
Bangkok-Nakorn Sawan
At 8.00 a.m. Departure
from the hotel heading north and to soon reach Saraburi where
you will visit the very beautiful Wat Phra Buddha Bart and see
its Lord’s
footprint, then on to the Ayudhya’s outpost of Lopburi, to
there visit the ruins of King Narai’s
Palace, now a National Museum, the grandiose Wat Mahatard, the
3 Prasards, the Monkey Shrine and Constantin Phaulkon’s
residence, etc.
Lunch will be served here.
In
the afternoon, we proceed to the striving commercial town of
Nakorn Sawan for accommodation at THE PIMARN HOTEL.
Soon after we check in we shall take a fascinating boat trip
on the Nan River, which is lined with boathouses underneath
many of which fish is being raised and visit a countryside
temple where semi-wild monkeys will be fed.

Day 2, Nakorn Sawan-Tak
At
8.30 a.m. Departure from the hotel; our first stop this
morning will be at the fortified city of Kampeangpetch, dating
from the 13th century to visit its ruined fortifications and
temples. Hence we proceed to Sukhothai to visit its unique
archeological site, a World Heritage site protected by UNESCO,
where standing Buddha Images can be seen majestically
presiding over fallen temples and palaces.
Lunch will be served here.
In
the afternoon you continue visiting this unique site and then
will be driven to Tak for accommodation at the WIANG TAK
HOTEL.

Day 3, Tak-Chiangmai
At 8.30 a.m. After a quick visit to the local
teaming market, departure for the Stonecutters’ village of
Thoen and them Pasang, the latter being known at “the Town of
the Beautiful maidens”, where lunch will be served.
In
the afternoon, on our way to Chiangmai, we will stop in
Lampoon to there visit the glittering Wat Haripoonchai. Upon
reaching our Northern capital, you will be dropped off at the
hotel of your choice. (B.L.)
