Departure any day by private transport, and every Monday on seat-in-coach basis (minimum 2 guests required).
Day 1, Bangkok-Pitsanuloke At 7.00 a.m. Departure from the hotel and transfer to the pier where you are to board an air-conditioned cruiser to sail up the Chao Phraya River, a buffet lunch will be served on board, you will disembark in Bang Pa-In to there visit the Summer Palace with its beautiful Chinese Pavilion that shelters Royal memorabilia. Hence you carry on by road to the former capital of Siam Ayudhya to visit its ruined palaces and temples, and in the afternoon to Pitsanuloke for accommodation at the AMARIN LAGOON HOTEL.

Day 2, Pitsanuloke-Chiengmai At 8.00 a.m. Departure from the hotel to visit the well known Wat Phra Jinaraj that shelters a unique Buddha Image, and we then drive to the first Thai capital city, Sukhothai, to visit its impressive archeological ruins, now a World Heritage site sponsored by UNESCO. Lunch will be served here. In the afternoon we drive to Lampang to there visit the Wat Phra Keo Don Tao and Wat Phra Thart Lampang Luang, of Burmese architectural style, and then to Lampoon to visit the magnificent Wat Haripoonchai; from here we proceed to Chiengmai and the EMPRESS HOTEL. Day 3, in Chiengmai
At 8.00 a.m. A comprehensive sightseeing tour will, this morning take you to see some of the home industries for which this northern capital is justly famous, such as wood-carving, silver-chiseling, silk and cotton weaving, lacquerware and paper-umbrella manufacturing, etc. Balance of the afternoon will be at leisure when you can relax by the pool or go shopping. At 7.15 p.m. We transfer to a restaurant where a typical Kan Toke dinner will be served, to be followed by a performance of Thai folk and tribal dances. (B.D.)
Day 4, Chiengmai-Chiengrai An early departure to visit the spectacular Doi Suthep temple that overlooks the town from its hilltop. From here we will proceed to a forest camp to see elephants being trained and demonstrating their skills, moving huge logs after a lengthy bath in the nearby river. Hence we proceed further North to Tha Torn where lunch will be served at the Mae Kok River Village and early afternoon will board a long-tail boat to descend the Mae Kok River and its rapids, visiting a Karenni Hilltribe village en route. We reach Chiengrai late afternoon for accommodation at the RIMKOK RESORT.

Day 5, Chiengrai-Mae Sa Valley An early departure to allow us to visit the infamous Golden Triangle area, the meeting point of the borders of Thailand Laos and Myanmar on the banks of the mighty Mekong River, and the towns of Chiang Sean and Mae Sai on the Thai/Burmese border. At 1.30 p.m. Departure from the Chiengrai for Mae Rim, driving over a scenic road, visiting some sulfuric hot-springs lunch will be served nearby, to reach the romantic and charming Resort of MAE-SA VALLEY LODGE for overnight deep in the hilly jungle, (B.L.)
Day 6, in Mae-Rim This morning we take a rough ride by mini-truck into the nearby hills to visit a quaint Meo hilltribe village. In the afternoon we visit the beautiful Mae-Sa Waterfall and an orchid nursery and take a short walk into the nearby jungle. This evening a farewell BBQ dinner will be served around a campfire on the lawn of the Mae-Sa Valley Lodge. (B. D.)
Day 7, Mae-Sa Valley-Chiengmai-Onwards In due time we will transfer you to Chiengmai for your onward journey. (B.)
