            The Suan Pakkard Palace is the residence of

H.R.H. Princess Chumpot Na Songhra, and she, like

Jim Thompson of the Thai silk fame, is a very selective

Art collector.  We shall visit her palace that also has a

unique 17^th century lacquer pavilion set up in the midst

of a beautiful landscaped garden.

            We then proceed to visit Jim Thompson’s

“House of the Klong” and his Art collections.

 

            This is the visit not to be missed, not only by Art Lovers, but also by those

who wish to know more about traditional Thai housing of the past.
